Hello, friend!
My name is Kari, and I am a photographer based in Nashville, TN. I strive to create pictures that have a common thread: soulful yet exciting, simplified, balanced, and moving.
You might notice that the photography on this website has a rather diverse subject matter – as I like to say, “The world and its life forms are too fascinating to pick just one thing!” Technology is a lot of fun for me as well, and I find post-processing to be as enjoyable as capturing images.
I love sharing my knowledge with others just as other have done, and continue to do, for me. My coaching style is based on supporting and guiding rather than telling. After all, everyone has a unique voice, and I believe a teacher’s role is to help students hone and become confident in their own creative style and abilities as artists.
